TD Saturday Market
Kick off your weekend with a visit to the TD Saturday Market, recognized as a Top 20 Event in the Southeast, which features 59 vendors offering fresh fruits and vegetables, warm breads and cinnamon rolls, cheeses and flowers.
Bell Tower & Carillon at RiverPlace
The 25 bells of the carillon float within a simple structure of 3 painted steel columns, the tallest of which is 54 feet. The bells were cast in The Netherlands and were donated by Harry van Bergen, the last of 6 generations of an acclaimed Dutch bell founding family. View Video

Cleveland Park is the city’s largest park and features tennis and volleyball courts, a softball field, playground areas, a fitness trail and both small-group and large-group picnic shelters. It is also the site of the Rock Quarry Garden, the Fernwood Nature Trail, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and the Greenville Zoo. More about Cleveland Park
Falls Park weaves through the heart of downtown and includes public gardens, scenic overlooks, nature trails, picnic areas and the iconic Liberty Bridge, suspended over the Reedy River and its impressive series of falls. Cleveland Park is home to the Greenville Zoo and features multiple playgrounds, tennis and volleyball courts, a fitness trail and picnic shelters. Both parks connect to the popular 22-mile Swamp Rabbit Trail, which is perfect for a bike ride with the family. Rent bikes from Greenville B-cycle, our all-electric bike-share system, with stations throughout downtown.
Located on the outskirts of downtown, McPherson Park features tennis courts, a playground and a 9-hole miniature golf course. Kids will also love the aviation-themed playground at Runway Park, located at the Greenville Downtown Airport.
Special Events
Enjoy live music on the banks of the Reedy River at the Greenville Heritage Sound Check concert series or attend a baseball game at Fluor Field, home of the Greenville Drive, a Class-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. Located in Greenville’s historic West End, Fluor Field is a replica of Fenway Park, complete with Pesky’s Pole and its own Green Monster. Downtown also features an array of unique shops, including Mast General Store and O.P. Taylor’s, which offer a wide selection of toys. Enjoy your purchase in one of our many popular area parks.
CHILDREN’S FOUNTAIN
Located at RiverPlace, this railroad-themed splash fountain is a popular spot to cool off in the summer months. Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, from April 1 to October 31. Note: The fountain is temporarily closed for repairs.
DOWNTOWN TROLLEYS
Our free open-air trolleys are another fun way to explore the city. There are two year-round routes and two seasonal routes, including one for downtown attractions, including the Greenville Zoo and Heritage Green, home of The Children’s Museum of the Upstate. More about the trolley
FALLS PARK ON THE REEDY
Falls Park weaves through the heart of downtown and includes public gardens, scenic overlooks, nature trails, picnic areas and the Reedy River with its impressive series of falls. Here is where you will find the Liberty Bridge, a pedestrian suspension bridge over the falls. Visit Falls Park

MICE ON MAIN
Mice on Main is a great way to keep the kids engaged while parents explore Main Street. Inspired by the book Goodnight Moon, Mice on Main is a scavenger hunt for nine bronze mice hidden between the Hyatt Regency and Westin Poinsett Hotels. PUBLIC ART WALKING TOUR
Take a walking or scenic driving tour through the city and discover a diverse collection of artwork. The tour can be viewed on a tablet or mobile device and includes a map of the city, photographs of the artwork and detailed descriptions.
RUNWAY PARK AT THE GREENVILLE DOWNTOWN AIRPORT
Free and open to the public, this aviation-themed playground is located on the grounds of the Greenville Downtown Airport, 21 Airport Road Extension, Greenville. It’s the perfect place to watch aviation in action, and children will love the aviation-themed playground!
SWAMP RABBIT TRAIL
This popular 22-mile trail is perfect for a run, a bike ride with the family or a walk with your dog. Amenities along the trail include picnic areas, water fountains and bicycle racks. An interactive map features useful trip planning information like parking and restroom locations and is accessible from all types of mobile devices and operating systems.
