GIS Data

The GIS Division maintains over 140 map layers of data for use primarily by our internal customers. Some of the common and nonsensitive layers are available free of charge to the public for a variety of uses.

Data Layers

Datasets include our most common data layers and can be downloaded as an ESRI File Geodatabase (.gdb) or as ESRI shapefiles (.shp).  Data is updated every Sunday at 7:00 PM. You will be asked to provide your name and use of the data as well as accept a data release.

Downtown 3D Model

Design Review Board applicants may need to provide a digital 3D model of their proposed development to assist in analysis and approval. Contact the City's planning staff for pre-application consultation at 864-467-4476.

Downloaded the contextual base model, which is provided as a .skp file. Model data is updated by the GIS Division.

Aerial Photography

Dataset includes leaf-off ortho imagery of entire city for 2022 available in MrSID format. Due to the size of the files, imagery data is only available by special request. You will be asked to provide your name and use of the data as well accept a data release. Data will be provided to you in 2-3 business days. Begin Imagery Data Request

Restricted Data

Dataset includes Sanitary Sewer Network data and Stormwater data, which is restricted to authorized consultants working on city projects. Please contact the Engineering department to request permission for access to this data. Restricted data will not be released without approval of the Engineering department.
